Well, I have two.
One's good and one's bad.
The good one is that the leaves are a potential lover or something well, like, IDK, maybe a date or something... but something still sucks like a death or something...
Okay, I misread it at first and some how skipped the line about the coldness inside... So the interpretations are mainly based on the leaves XD.
Then the bad is that the leaves are something like mindless sex or something and trying to kill the emotional pain by mere physical recreational activities o.o...
Please can you tell me the intended one xD? I know this is way off...
I'll have another think about it and take into consideration the entire thing...(I have a terrible tendency to skip out random sentences and stuff sub-conciously while reading...)

Honestly this poem was just a general... "opening up, but feeling rejected"... but the leaves...what are they? Sort of thing. The leaves could be almost anything.

Yes, the leaves being a positive thing definitely makes the most sense. The open window kind of represents someone feeling rejected ...because they open themselves up but are left cold.

Whereas the leaves could be someone deciding to enter for whatever reason.
