A star chart
for thoughts
would be a marvelous invention.
It would give
a new meaning
to touching the stars.
I'd love to touch a star
and remember a favorite moment-
any time you made me feel
like cicadas were dancing
on my skin and vibrating
my bones to warmth.

Lately I've wanted to put cicadas in one of my poems somehow... and I just thought of the star chart idea relating to thoughts...so there you go.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
