So I'd really like to post submissions in an article for the recent challenge...but nobody has done it yet.

Kind of surprised, considering how many people on DA post lyrics and love music.

How many of you guys like to role play? And when I mean role play, I mean in story written form, not as much DnD as making a character and continuously writing a story together with other people.

I've been thinking and... well I should really go through my friend's list. I was inspired by another friend to do so. I hope that if some of you get removed you're not offended, so just a head's up. I'm going to be watching people that.

a) Talk to me and care about me and/or I care about you.

and

b) Make good artwork/serious about making good artwork.

If you are one or the other I will keep watching you. If you are inactive, I'm sorry, but I'm removing you. It's nothing against you, but if you show up every half a year practically to respond only to comments and do nothing but that...what am I to do?

I'm not disowning you and it's not like I'm ignoring you. You send a submission for my connection? I'll accept it, because anyone's allowed to do so. You talk to me, I respond. I only hope that my watchers watch me because they like my art or me, not because they want me to watch them. I don't want that.

I want to apologize to anyone that I just ended up watching to be polite, because they watched me or they didn't have enough watchers.

Has the right idea.

Update: I took off about 20 people; I'm done with the editing of the list now.

Haha, I'm sorry! I think with school starting up again and all of the resulting craziness, people just forgot it was there (me included). I'll try to crank something out if I have the time; I just started a new job.

i used to do it with Final Fantasy characters. It got really frustrating after a while. Too many disagreements, and sometimes people would disappear for weeks and then complain you took over their story because they left your character hanging. And then there was stuff i just didn't plain like at all because it didn't fit the world, like someone bringing in a DBZ character. More fights. Drama. i had to branch out and start my own thing.

i play DnD though and it can be really inspiring to your own personal writing. i have a few poems in my gallery that i wrote "in character" as my elf rogue.

Eh, the people I tend to RP with are closer friends that can always be bugged if they take too long. And there's always the admin, which puts in place the rule of "No god posting".

Also, characters and players are moderated. So they can easily be banned as well if they get ridiculous and don't follow the rules. People make a character and a profile which they have to stick to. They can't bring in a new character randomly each time they play.

If you trust your admin, i say go for it. It may open up avenues of inspiration for you, and help you tap into areas of your talent you never knew you had.
